AFDC Alternative Fuel Stations
Every electric vehicle charging station in the country, and every station selling natural gas, propane, hydrogen, E85 ethanol, biodiesel or renewable diesel, as the Department of Energy's Alternative Fuels Data Center (AFDC) lists them: open, planned and temporarily closed, public and private fleet sites, with who may use each, its hours, owner, charging network, how many Level 1, Level 2 and DC fast charging ports it has, and the federal program that paid for it. Good for planning EV and alternative fuel infrastructure: finding gaps along corridors and in rural or low-income areas, checking National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) coverage, and siting fleet fueling.

The U.S. Department of Energy collects these data in partnership with Clean Cities coalitions and their stakeholders to help fleets and consumers find alternative fueling stations. Clean Cities coalitions foster the nation's economic, environmental, and energy security by working locally to advance affordable, efficient, and clean transportation fuels and technologies.
