County Population Projections 2020–2050
The state's own projection of each Ohio county's population from 2020 to 2050, in five-year steps, by five-year age group and by sex. Use it to see where the population is expected to grow or shrink over a long-range planning horizon, and which age groups drive the change, such as where older residents who rely on transit and paratransit will be most numerous, or where the school-age population is falling.

"The Ohio Population Projections Report is derived from demographic trends, including age distribution, fertility, mortality, and migration patterns. Economic, political, and policy factors were not considered or incorporated, though these factors can substantially affect population outcomes. The projections featured in this report are data-informed estimates that illustrate the population shifts that could occur if point-in-time demographic trends persist."
