BEA Outdoor Recreation by State
How much outdoor recreation adds to every state's economy, every year since 2012: the value of activities from bicycling, boating, fishing, hunting and camping to festivals and guided tours, with the travel, construction and government spending that support them, and the jobs and pay in each industry it reaches. Use it to size a state's outdoor economy against others, to make the economic case for trails, parks and waterways, or to see which activities matter most in a state.
