The attribute is made up of seven components that describe administrative and other characteristics related to a route segment; Positions (1) - Jurisdiction, (2 thru 4) - County Code, (5 thru 6) - Route Type, (7 thru 11) - Route Number, (12) - Extension Code, (13) - Description Code, (14) - Direction Code; For further definitions of codes, please refer to the Roadway Information Manual |
DISTRICT | From 1-12 plus Central Office – the counties are grouped into districts in Ohio for ease of maintenance and funding |
COUNTY | County in which the feature is located |
COUNTY_CD | The 3-letter code of the county within Ohio (88 counties total) |
ROUTE_TYPE | Two letter code indicating the basic transportation grouping or system that the route belongs to - third component of the NLFID; For further definitions of codes, please refer to the Roadway Information Manual |
ROUTE_NBR | Route number associated with the section of the route |
ROUTE_SUFFIX | Single letter used with the route number in local and municipal systems to guarantee uniqueness; For further definitions of codes, please refer to the Roadway Information Manual |
CTL_BEGIN_NBR | Beginning County Log Point of the section of the route |
STL_BEGIN_NBR | Beginning State Log Point of the section of the route |
LATITUDE_DD | Latitude coordinates in decimal degrees |
LONGITUDE_DD | Longitude coordinates in decimal degrees |
MILE_MARKER_NBR | Number indicated on mile marker from where the road began in Cumberland, MD |
NOTES_UPDATES | Notes or Updates recorded that pertain to the Mile Marker |
